I just had to post this layout...in honor of what my son and I did today!! We got him all registerd for Kindergarden!!! He was so excited...but I was a blubbery mess!! haha They sure do grow up...FAST!!

Here's a card I made inspired by Dani's challenge over at Create My Keepsake! You had to make a card using fabric, embroidery floss and ribbon! What a fun challenge! I ended up using felt...because...the only fabric I seem to have right now it SpongeBob!! lol



And the Wednesday Challenge over at Paper Popsicles was put on by Sheila! You had to make a tag, ATC, bookmark or candy wrapper using at least two stamps!! I don't own very many stamps so this was a challenge! Make sure you go check it out!! You have a chance to win a new stamp set designed and made by her!!! :)

Super Fun Scrappy Day!!

Well I am getting more and more excited everyday for NSD!!! Today I was feeling very inspired and decided to scrap all the sketch challenges I paticipate in!! But first, here is a layout I did for Paper Popsicles!! Today's challenge was to scraplift a layout from someone in the gallery! I decided to scrap Joan (aka Joaniebolonie)! haha...what a weekend it has been! We all had a wonderful time with DH's Mom here! The boys had a blast getting to see and spend lots of time with her...they were VERY surprised when they saw her at the airport...it was priceless!!

Well...as we ALL know...National Scrapbook Day is on Saturday!! HOORAY!!! I have been looking very forward to this exciting event! The wonderful ladies over at Paper Popsicles are having a NSD Warm-Up Crop! There will be challenges everyday and today there is a chance to win a RAK (you've got till midnight Pacific time)!! Colorstory Challenge & CPS

I found this really fun blog the other day called Colorstory Challenge...and let me tell you...this was a HUGE challenge! You were supposed to use red, yellow, green, black and white! Not colors I would normally put together, but it was lots of fun!

Sketch This #47

I am just loving all these sketch blogs I have found over the past couple weeks!! They are so inspiring...and they get those creative juices flowing!!! :) Here' my take on the Sketch This #47 sketch! I'm going to do my best to get a layout done also...but I have TONS of things going on this weekend!! My MIL will be flying in tomorrow so I will be MIA for a couple days! If I get a chance I'll post a couple creations sometime this weekend, otherwise I'll be back Monday evening! Take care!

Baby Shower Gift

My MIL is flying up for a visit on Thursday afternoon! The boys don't know...we've kept it a secret for a couple months now (it was super hard)! I'm going to see if they want to go look at the "airplanes" when it's time to go pick her up! I'm sure they will catch on really fast!! They miss her so much!
My SIL is having her baby shower sometime next month so I asked to make the invitation for that! I'm really pleased with how they turned out (still have a few more to make)...I'll post them later! Since my MIL is coming she can just take them home with her! That's a huge relief because I was afraid they might get damaged in the mail! :( Anyways I have her gift all ready too...but of course had to make her an album! She's having a girl...the first girl on my DH's side!! We all are SO excited...so yes...I had an excuse to use lots and lots of flowers!! Here is the cover page and a couple sneak peaks!

Triple The Sketch #3

I got some really great scrappy time in last night!! I put the kids to bed...on time...and DH was scouting for his perfect hunting spot! So what better to do than get a couple challenges done!! I really enjoyed the sketch this week from Triple The Sketch! As you can see...I didn't use a flower on my card (that's for you Nevis! lol)! That was the most challenging!! So here they are:

CPS #60

Here's my take on the CPS sketch #60! Sorry the photo is so poor...it started to cloud up! I used the American Crafts letter stickers I found at Big Lots for $1! It was amazing! I got over $70 worth of AC rub-ons and stickers for $16! What a deal! Thanks for looking!

Okay...so I'm sure you can see...

that I'm TOTALLY obsessed with flowers!!! I really tried...hard...last night to not use one! It just didn't work! I love them way too much!! lol So, here's my card using the #2 sketch fromTriple The Sketch. I made this card for my cousins wedding...the saying on the flower reads: "Love binds everyting together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3:14

I LOVE this sketch from Triple The Sketch! It was super fun to use for my layout (I'll be back sometime this weekend with a card using the sketch)! Make sure you check out this awesome sketch blog!! Anyways...here's our baby girl...yeah I know...she's REALLY "hairy"! lol

MM Garden Party!

I LOVE this paper! It's so beautiful! And it was a great excuse to scrap the boys' Easter pictures on! Who says you can't scrap flower and boys together? The picture isn't very good...the lace paper isn't that bright!! I was able to do this layout and two cards with only three sheets of paper!! And I still have left-overs!

While blog surfing last week I came across two more fabulous sketch blogs! So I thought I would give them a go! This first card is done using sketch #1 from Triple The Sketch. I really like this site because the sketch is for both layouts and cards!!

CPS #59 & Mom cards

I got to scrap for a couple hours today thanks to my amazing hubbie!! Yesterday I left for a couple hours...really needed a small break from the kiddos! When I returned and walked through the back door...I was completely SHOCKED!!! The kitchen was spotless! The mountain of dirty dishes were gone, the dishwasher was running, the oven was clean, and the counters had nothing on them! I didn't know what to say...I gave him the hugest hug ever and praised him greatly! I asked him why and he said, "I knew you needed a break!" I melted! What a sweetheart!! Then I walked into the front room and it too was clean and vacuumed! So, because of his super amazing gesture...I had today off!
Here's my card for the CPS #59 challenge (first picture)! I found this super cute MOM paper yesterday and figured I would get my Mother's Day cards done early! (No peeking Mom!) Unfortunatly I didn't do a hybrid card...oops...oh well! Thanks for looking!

2 Pager

I never do two page layouts! So when I saw Paper Popsicles was having a monthly contest using a 2 pager...I had to give it a go! It was a huge challenge! Not only the two pages, but I never scrap more than two photos on a layout...and this one you had to use 8! I really loved the challenge! So, here it is! I loved it so much I've been challenging myself to use more photos!
