Lots Going on Here...

Well, as you can see I changed things around a bit!!
For those of you who frequent my blog know that I get bored very easily and am constantly changing my blog "look" every couple months! So here's it is...I'm totally loving the black and white!! My poor hubby has to deal with this at home too!! I change things alot...epecially decorating!! My kitchen has had a new look every year we've been at our house!! lol

Okay, back on track...first of all I'd like to apologize for not posting like I normally do!! Things have been rather hectic in the Gallagher family since school has been out!! The boys are keeping me very busy and by the end of the day I'm pooped out and just want to go to bed!! But that's going to change...I'm going to start posting WAY more often!! Tricia, hold me on that...seriously!! ((love you girl))

So, now to the good stuff...I'm was super excited to find the time to use Dawn's sketch this week!! It was very inspirational!! So here is what I came up with!!
I turned my scallops around so you the circle didn't cover them up as much!! Hope you like it!!

Cuttlebug Challenge Be Inspired #42

Hello everyone!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!
Can you believe the month of July is almost over? Where has the time gone?
Before we know it the summer will be over and the kids will be back in school!!

Anyways, this week at Cuttlebug Challenge we are celebrating National Friendship day!! The challenge was to make a gateway card with your favorite embossing folder! Now I'll be honest...I really don't have a favorite folder because I love so many of them!! But for this challenge I used the gorgeous Victoria folder...you can't really see it but it's there!! I also used the fabulous Coredinations cardstock!!

Cuttlebug Challenge Be Inspired #41

Happy Wednesday everyone!!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!!

Today at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog we are featuring the GORGEOUS "Victoria" embossing folder!! I must say...this is one of my faves (but then again, I'm loving all the new folders)!
So, this weeks challenge was to make something altered!!
I've been saving this Prima jar for quite sometime now...and I'm glad I did, because it was perfect for this challenge! It's a little hard to see but my white paper is embossed with the Victoria folder!! The container is filled with a soft pair of pink socks, lotion and some delicious body spray!! A perfect gift to encourage someone to relax!!

Here's my project I'd like to share with you!!
I chose to keep my card and bag blank so I can use it for any fun summer occassion!!







The card was so much fun to make...yes that is real sand (shhhh...I took a little bit from my boys' sandbox)!! To make the card you need a 10.5" X 5.5" piece of cardstock. Then score at 1.25", 2.5", 4.25", 6", and 8.25" and fold accordian style. Decorate!! Now how easy is that!!

I Caught a Little Baby Bumble Bee...

.....won't my Mommy be so proud of me!!
lol Remember that little song?? ((sigh)) memories!
My kids are singing that song CONSTANTLY, thanks to Grandma!! :)
It's so cute to watch them do the little hand movements...squishing the poor thing is their favorite part!! Silly boys!!

Anyways, my card for today I used the AMAZING sketch over at ICSketches!! I know I say this every week, but Dawn's sketches are so much fun to work with!! I find a lot of inspiration lurking about them!! Make sure you go take a peek....especially at all the beautiful cards her DT has done!!

Here's what I came up with...and no it won't sting you!! Promise!! The card is actually a tri-fold held together by the bow!!

Summer Weather Is Finally To STAY!!!

I am BEYOND excited that the summer weather has finally decided to stay!! I have to admit...I was conviced winter was going to stay all year long!! But we have had a couple weeks of GORGEOUS sunny weather!! Unfortunately my Zots aren't enjoying it as much!! lol
