Age Is Just A Number...

I hope you all had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Can you believe January is almost among us...just two days left of 2008!!
Crazy!!

Tomorrow is a really special day... not only is it New Year's Eve, but it's my youngest son's birthday!! My baby will be turning 4!!!

Four years ago was really emotional for my husband and me!! Aidan was born 10 weeks early and only weighed 3.5 pounds. He couldn't breath or eat on his own and was given a 50/50 chance of survival. It was devasting!! I didn't get to see him until the next day and didn't get to hold him for a couple more days...for a mother that is so hard!! January 5th I was released from the hospital...without him!! It was the worst drive of my entire life...turning around to see an empty carseat!
My husband and I came everyday to the hospital to visit...it was really hard!! We never knew what to expect...one day he was doing really great, but the next was worse!! One step forward, several steps back!!
But he was a fighter!! After 5 weeks, he was finally able to breath and eat on his own and then was able to come home a week later!! It was Valentine's Day!! Such a joyous day!! So you can see why his birthday is even more special to us!!!





I had the pleasure of getting to work with the "Age Is Just A Number" kit for January at Paper Popsicles!!
I dedicated this kit to my son, so here are the creations I made....

Can You See It??

My car that is!!
It's seems to be missing!! lol

OMG...we got 20inches of snow within the last 24 hours!!
They have shut down the city streets and are advising everyone stay inside!!
A lot of businesses are closed along with all the schools, garbage pick-up...and the list goes on and on from there!!
They said we are expected to see another 3-7inches today and then 3-7inches tonight!!
We are "officially" snowed in!!
But you know what that means.......LOTS of scrapping!!! lol
At least I can see that positive out of this!! ;)

Busy busy busy!!
I have been so busy!!
With all the orders I've been working on and getting Christmas presents ready!!
My sister flew in late last night to spend the weekend with us!! I'm SOOOOOO excited!! She hasn't been home for Christmas in two years!! The boys are so excited!! We are going to celebrate Christmas on Saturday!! So today the boys and I are going over my parents house to decorate the tree and bake some cookies!! I can't wait!! It will be like old time...when we were little!! Mom would make dozens and dozens of cookies....all different kinds!! Yummmmmm....and too this day the cookie dough is still my favorite!!! hehe

BLISS, FUN mini album

So as you can see I've been really busy creating for my store!!
I've had some really nice orders outside of Etsy, so that's been GREAT!!
I thought I would share my newest creation with you all!!

This mini scrapbook album measures 6.75X6 and includes 10 pages (using fabulous Basic Grey papers) and photomats for those "fun" pictures!!! It has LOTS of flowers and bright colors throughout the entire album!!

So after I was hiding some Christmas presents in my closet yesterday I came accross and entire stack of paper bags that I had TOTALLY forgotten I bought!!! So of course....I instantly was inspired and decided to create one for my shop!!

This albums measures 7x7 and has 10 photomats and 6 inserts!!

But I made sure to make time ths morning!!
I really LOVED this mornings sketch...and all the beautiful cards the DT made...WOW!!

Here is the card I made....if you look really closly you can see a ghost snowflake!!



The ribbon wasn't cooperating when I was trying to take a photo, so it looks a little funny.....sorry!!

I decided to only use 4 of the 5 tags for this album...so with the leftover one this is what I made!! I glued a magnet to the back...you know, the ones that are on the front of the phonebooks!! ;)

Okay...I'm so sorry this is late!!! We've all been fighting a nasty little cold!!
Anyways, this week at
Card-a-licious the challenge was to create a mini card...something 4x4 or smaller!! So this is what I came up with!!! I absolutely LOVE this Basic Grey paper...especially that butterfly!! Wow, can you believe Thanksgiving is in ONE week!! Uh oh...we all know what that means, Christmas is right around the corner!!! I personally can't wait...espeically for Black Friday!! It's my favorite day out of the year!!! hehe
